Food Security

As a result of the Anglophone crisis in the Northwest region of Cameroon, villagers and farmers are kill in their farms, markets destroyed and farm to market roads equally destroy and inaccessible due to the risk of sporadic attacks from either separatist fighters or the state military. This  situation has led to disruptions in the food supply network, food scarcity and high prices of home grown natural foodstuffs. We own and manage a farm at Abongfen,Small Babanki, Tubah Sub division which is use as a demonstration site for participants to learn and practice techniques  and methods in organic crop cultivation and to improve productivity.Facilitated by an agricultural technician, participants cultivate crops such as maize, beans, tomatoes and vegetables. The produce is use for subsistence and commercial purposes, and the income made from the sales is use for project sustainability.
