Food Security
As a result of the Anglophone crisis in the Northwest region of Cameroon,villagers and farmers are kill in their farms,markets destroyed and farm to market roads equally destroy and inaccessible due to the risk of sporadic attacks from either separatist fighters or the state military.This situation has led to disruptions in the food supply network,food scarcity and high prices of home grown natural foodstuffs.We own and manage a farm at Abongfen,Small Babanki, Tubah Sub division which is use as a demonstration site for participants to learn and practice techniques and methods in organic crop cultivation and to improve productivity.Facilitated by an agricultural technician,participants cultivate crops such as maize,beans,tomatoes and vegetables.The produce is use for subsistence and commercial purposes,and the income made from the sales is use for project sustainability.
Environmental Protection
Our environmental protection program centers on creatively managing and transforming non biodegradable waste products to usable and significant objects,items and works of art.Participants through visual art and craft training workshops are facilitated to create functional and aesthetic works of arts such as paintings,flower jars,ash strays,chairs,sculptures and so on from used plastic containers,broken bottles,non biodegradable plastic papers,old tires among others.
